There are 3 components to the fee structure:
- The Tuition Levy - This amount of $357 is set by the Catholic Education Commission and is remitted to the Catholic Education Office. This is a family fee and is only charged once for each family.
- The School Resource Levy - This amount assists with meeting the costs of insuring and day-to-day maintenance of school facilities. This is a family fee and is only charged once for each family.
- The Student Resource Levy - This amount covers the day-to-day operating costs of the school e.g. cleaning, water, gas, electricity, phone and other administrative costs. It also covers the costs incurred in providing quality education for the students, necessary teaching and learning resources and equipment in each classroom. The cost of the bus to and from the Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics carnivals, a school performance and visiting the Life Education Van. This is a student fee and is charged per student.
Children will be asked to supply their own stationary items and bring in a box of tissues each so that the levies are not increased any further for 2023. An equipment requirements list for each year will be sent home to advise you of what each year level requires.
The fee structure, for 2023, is required to meet the needs of Ss Peter and Paul’s Primary School with regard to the change in the Catholic Tuition Fee structure that incorporates siblings at Trinity Catholic Secondary College.
Ss Peter and Paul’s Primary School students with siblings at Trinity will be billed at the rate of 50% of the CEO Tuition Levy ie $178.50 per term.
To obtain the 50% sibling discount on the family Tuition Levy, a letter confirming enrolment of siblings at Trinity Catholic College is required.
An inability to pay school fees should not preclude any child from receiving a Catholic Education. You are urged to make an appointment to discuss any financial difficulties that may arise.
The school is now able to offer a variety of payment methods that include: cash, eftpos, credit card, BPay and Qkr app.
Sincerely,
Miss Kathy Neely Mr Darren McMahon
