Merit Award System

The students of Ss Peter and Paul's School are encouraged to do their best in every aspect of school life.

Their efforts are rewarded through a whole school award system.

The acknowledgement of positive behaviour in the classroom and playground is a very integral part of our school’s Pastoral Care and Behaviour Management Policy. Our Merit Award system is outlined below:    

The 1st step is a Merit Award

The 2nd step is a Teacher’s Award

The 3rd step is a Principal’s Award

Fair Play Award

The weekly Fair Play and Good Sportsmanship Award is awarded to a student in each year group who displays good teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play in their weekly sport and PE activities.This award has been sponsored by Goulburn McDonalds.


Contacting your school about concerns

Before approaching the school try to gather and write down the following information:

  1. What happened
  2. Who was involved?
  3. Where and when did the incident/s occur?
  4. How long has it been happening?
  5. What solutions have been tried so far?
  6. Are any teachers aware of what is happening?
  7. Are there any witnesses?

School Counsellor

Our school counsellor, Kirsten visits the school every Tuesday afternoon. Parental permission is required for children to see the counsellor on a one to one basis. Please contact your child's classroom teacher or the Principal for further information.
